He says:

Mary Stevens Hospice helped my Dad live out his last days with dignity and comfort. Sitting in their garden listening to Pink Floyd in the sun will be one of my greatest memories. By raising money, others may have the chance to create amazing parting memories with their loved ones.

I am a Chartered Accountant, a Trustee and director for a local media/arts charity. I am a very keen cook and enjoy poker. Most of all though I am a family man, a loving husband and devoted father to my two wonderful children Delilah (2) and Wilf (1)

My oil of choice is Hermes. The scent is strong but full of subtleties. Long lasting but not over powering. I look forward to my new beard care routine each morning, and the pinnacle is my Hermes oil

An IT consultant by day and the ROCKING lead singer of the band ANAAM by night. I am a man that enjoys a good whiskey with friends, creating awesome music, and of course….. ROCKING a BEARD!

I have been growing my beard properly now for 5 months and I am totally loving it. I believe that if a man can grow a beard, it is his right to do so!

I absolutely love the idea of mixing the modern with old fashioned values. For me, rocking a beard with a twizzly moustache brings back a bit of the old school. When men were REAL men, with a smart tailored look complemented by a proudly displayed beard. They were times where men were not afraid of a hard day’s graft, where there was honour and respect for their fellow bearded man.

Beards have played integral parts in men’s careers over the years. Men such as Abraham Lincoln, Che Guevara, Ernest Hemingway, George Lucas and Luciano Pavarotti  to name but a few. More recently in the case of Ben Affleck, his mighty beard managed to turn him from a “past his best actor” into an Oscar winning director!

But I digress…..It is important to remember with growing an awesome beard comes great responsibility.  Each man has a responsibility to take care and nurture his beard. To allow his beard to be the very best it can be to ensure the good name of BEARDS is not sullied allowing for negative stigma to be attached to it.

That is where First Olympian and the great work of Jeremy and Alice have made such an important impact. I can honestly say my beard would be nowhere if it was not for their BEARD OIL collection and, for me,  HERMES in particular.

HERMES is the perfect complement to my beard and I.  I thank you First Olympian for creating a BEARD OIL that not only enriches my beard, but my soul as well!
