“Yeah – I’m an Olympian, it might show. I’m old school magic, elements and wishes, combined. I draw spells, the craft of the mandala, visual incantations, a gardener of the mind, and a woodsman. Oh, and a grandad – learning the way.

My work is journalled here.

But aside from sitting, drawing and stroking my beard… Put me by a river, brook, stream, rivulet, tributary, spring – and I’ll be in there, clearing the flow. Water is perfect, clear running water is even more perfect.”

This is Michael, he’s a 27 year old Double Lung Transplant survivor.
He was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 3 months old and battled until the age of 23 before requiring his transplant. He’s now studying for his Diploma in Bookkeeping and Accountancy and raising money for the Papworth Hospital Trust by growing his beard for a year.
